Does Vos Video work with my camera?
Vos Video supports Network (IP) cameras and USB webcams. Check out compatibility list. In case your camera is not listed let us know and we will add support.
Does Vos Video support PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras?
Vos Video mission to protect your investments and we are trying to support all built-in camera functionalities. If your camera listed in our driver list and has PTZ functionality then yes, it is supported.
Will I be able to access the video archive?
We keep our customer archive in Smooth Streaming video format which means that you will have not just video archive but way to access your video even with slow network.

How do I find the IP address of my camera?
Your camera has a web page to configure camera settings, the IP address is typically part of the URL.
Do I need to install software?
You do not need to install any our software on your computer. Our system is web-based. Once you login to Webconsole you should be able to start our RIA plugin (Dashboard) which will temporarily cash itself on your computer. It can be removed from your local cash in just single click.
Are your services free?
Yes, initial version of our service is free and don’t have any limitation. You already paid for hardware and we are here to protect this investment. You will have full access to you IP Cam features, should be able to create your local video archive and apply some video algorithms like motion detection to your video stream. Some specific features like license plate and face recognition, remote archive is subject for small monthly payments.
